Privacy Policy

The Reserve Bank (RBNZ) values your privacy and will only collect information from you or your referees for the purposes of assessing your application for employment. The information we collect will be handled sensitively and securely and may only be disclosed to RBNZ’s employees who are involved in the recruitment process. It will not be disclosed to third parties without your authorisation, unless required by law.

Sensitive information such as health information, credit and criminal record checks will be collected in the course of progressing with your application. If you are not successful with your application the information will be disposed of within twelve (12) months of being collected. If you are successful with your application the information will be retained as an employee record.

You have the option to correct your information, delete your account and download your data via the RBNZ’s career page.

In addition, aggregated information collected from you and other applicants may be used for recruitment statistics. It will not be possible to identify you in these recruitment statistics.

Please understand that incorrect or misleading information on this form or imparted by you to the selection panel either at interview or in documentation supplied by you, may result in your application being withdrawn from the selection process or, if you are appointed to a position, you may be subsequently dismissed.
